Children’s Pathway Ministry – Fall Online Edition

The Children’s Pathway Ministry will begin fall classes online only.  The children will receive a letter each week from their teachers along with supplemental content to be shared via email by the lead teacher.  Children who do attend church in person with their families during the fall are welcome to sit together in the service.

If you’re a new family at Grace Chapel, we’d like to welcome you!  Email Melinda Deuby at, or text 734-502-5734, so we can help you get connected in our Children’s Pathway Ministry classes.

Little Lights ~ Ages 2 years – Grade K
“The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.” – Psalm 119:130, NLT

In this class we share the light of the Lord by introducing the Bible as the word of God and discovering together that all can pray to Him. We also worship through music, crafts and play.

Lower Elementary Lamp Lighters 1 st – 3rd Grades
“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” – Matthew 5:16, NLT

Upper Elementary & Young Teen Lamp Lighters 4th – 7th Grades
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” – Proverbs 3:5-6, NLT

In the elementary classes we help build confidence and trust in Christ by digging deeper into the word of God and learning how to apply it to our lives.  We share praise and pray for each other, and spend time in fellowship together with the Lord and each other.

This fall Pathway will begin a new children’s curriculum called The Gospel Project for Kids: “a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed.” This curriculum comes complete with teacher guides and support resources along with bible story videos, lessons, and activity packs.  The Gospel Project for Kids is available in multiple delivery formats (including an app which parents or children can download) allowing us to move seamlessly between a classroom and online format throughout the year.  Visit the following sites to lean more: and

Going through a Child Protection class and background check is required for anyone working with children and youth at Grace Chapel.  This class is easy to attend and we can work with your schedule.  See Marchetta Nabozny with any questions.  The Pathway team would also like to say a special thank you to all of our volunteers who continue to pour their hearts, time and talents into our children’s Pathway ministry!  If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact a member of the Pathway Children’s Ministry team.
