Everyday Missionaries

Everyday Missionaries

Before returning to his Heavenly Father, Jesus commissioned his disciples in this way, “As the Father sent me, so I send you” (John 20:21).

If you consider yourself a Christian, then you are a “sent one,” a missionary of the Crucified and Risen Lord.

From the moment a person first trusts that Jesus is Savior and Lord, she is a new person in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17, Col. 3:10); and with this she has a new purpose: to be a witness of King Jesus before everyone everywhere (family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, teammates, enemies, and strangers; Acts 1:8) testifying to the reality that Jesus is Lord and that salvation from sin and death is through faith in him alone. This is what it means to be an “everyday missionary.”

Join us Sunday mornings (@10:45am) now through October as we seek to deepen our understanding of our missionary identity through a 15-week study of Acts!
