A key part of being a follower of Jesus is that you are on mission with God in your neighborhood.  At Grace Chapel, we seek to do this in a variety of ways.  We partner with a number of local organizations, our Deacons are active in the community meeting some of the deepest needs people have, our food pantry is stocked and ready for people in need. We also have active men’s and women’s ministries which offer regular opportunities to connect.

Church Planting
Church planting is a key component to who we are as a church. We believe that there is no better way to reach people who are from God than to plant a new church. In 2009 God called our then youth pastor, Mike Gorr, to Redford, MI to lead our first church plant. God has blessed Mercy Road. He is using her to reach people who are far from God. Nearly 40% of the folks that attend are new Christians or have not yet begun their relationship with Jesus. Click on the image above to learn more.
Partnerships to Serve

Partnerships to Serve

At Grace Chapel we are continually looking around for opportunities to get involved in our local community. To that end we are working with a number of volunteer organizations in the Metro Detroit area to meet the needs of our world. We partner with a number of local agencies to meet the needs of those looking for aid: Life Remodeled, Central Detroit Christian, Grace Centers of Hope, and Neighborhood House.
Deacons

Deacons

The Deacons show compassion to those in need both in our congregation and in the community. The primary role of a Deacon is to initiate and maintain a relationship with their assigned families so that they can be served. The Deacons strive to extend the hand of Christ to God's people, bringing them love and comfort, and acting as a liaison to Grace Chapel.
