Children

Children

Not only do we love kids at Grace Chapel, we love the family unit! The mission of our ministry is to supplement the family in laying down a spiritual foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We consider Pathway  to be a family ministry rather than simply a children’s ministry, children grow to be true disciples of Christ best within the family unit.

We desire to see every child worship God their whole life and would love for your child(ren) to join you in the worship service. We believe that as children see their parents worship, they too will learn to worship the Lord.

Opportunities to Connect:

  • Sundays at 10:00 am we seek to connect the children with the larger body. We believe that Jesus has called us to train our children as worshipers and we do this best as a community, we would love for you to bring your child(ren) into the worship service with you. In addition, we have a live feed of the service available in a quiet room across the hall. We also have classrooms for children ages birth – 2 and 3 – 5 years that have adult leaders to help families disciple children during the worship service year-round.
  • Sundays at 11:15 am we have a Discipleship Time where your kids will meet Jesus through hearing and doing. We actively seek to teach kids how to love Christ by building their personal relationships with the Bible, our faith tradition/doctrine, and with the body of Christ.  (Children Pre-K/Kindergarten and Elementary age)
  • Family Life Sundays we believe that families work better together than split apart. Every fifth Sunday, during the Discipleship Time (11:15 am), we take a break from meeting separately and join together as families. Kids and parents will work on a service project or study together in one classroom to read, retell, wonder, pray, praise, share, and respond to God’s Word.

We also seek to include kids in every aspect of church life. We believe that they are important and that all of us can learn from them as they help us keep our childlike faith.
